Amman, the capital of Jordan, is situated on a hilly area between the desert and the fertile Jordan Valley. In the heart of the city, you find modern buildings, hotels, restaurants, art galleries and boutiques next to traditional coffee shops and tiny artisans’ workshops. Try knafah from Habiba restaurant, eat humus and falafel at Hashem’s restaurant in downtown or go for a luxury restaurant specialized in Arabic food.

Drive to Wadi Seer, a suburb of Amman, here you can visit the ruins of Qasr Al Abd. And also the Iraq al Amir women cooperative society is located here.

In Amman you could enjoy tasting the local wines of Jordan, or go on a “wine crawl” with a local guide. And enjoy a cooking course at Beit Sitti!
